Editorial Illustrations

CJP asked me to design three editions of their magazine and create illustrations for one of them. Each month, CJP collaborates with an upcoming illustrator to visually bring a theme to life.

For this edition, the theme was the COVID-19 pandemic. I created three illustrations:

  • A dystopian image of the cultural sector, which was severely impacted by the crisis.
  • A reference to the term “slutty summer”, which, due to COVID restrictions, was postponed and instead turned into a “slutty autumn.”
  • A relatable 2021 sentiment of endlessly starting over: a computer screen displaying three folders—2021, 2021 version 2, and 2021 final version.

Check out CJP Magazines #1#2, and #3 from 2021.
