T-shirt Design

Friendly Fire, the company behind Best Kept Secret Festival, asked me to design the T-shirt for their Fire Crew. This crew is the legendary team of hardworking humans who build up Friendly Fire’s festivals.

For this design the client and me boldly choose a light colored longsleeve. This was not going to be one of those T-shirts that ends up as pyjamas or working t-shirts, this was meant as a SHOW shirt: something clean (very important during build-up time) to wear to parade around and see the shows at Best Kept Secret.

I designed a vintage-inspired mascot and illustrated elements the crew works with daily: a manitou, a fence, Best Kept Secret’s mainstage and of course their tools.

On the back we went for a crew-picked oneliner:
“Geen meter zonder gator.” (No meter without a gator.)
